Looking pretty is every girl wish. when we think about makeup hundred and million products come across our mind making it very hard to choose from. watching makeup videos doesn’t help much as it doesn’t give a complete information. I will give you some basic tips which will help you better understand when you apply if for yourself.
TIP NO 1
When choosing foundation do not test it on your arm .test it on your side of cheek or neck. It will make it way easier to choose the right shade for you.
TIP NO 2
Set your foundation and concealer with powder and do not use powder really close to the eye area as it makes the wrinkle more prominent under eye which is not cute at all.
TIP NO 3
The shade of bronzer, blush, and highlighter you use matters. Choose the bronze according to your skin type. If you have reddish skin, try to pick shades that have a yellow tone. Lighter shades of blush and bronzer will create a softer, more natural look, while darker shades create a bolder look. do your best to stick to shades that matches your skin tone, eye, and hair colour.
TIP NO 4
Eyebrows frame your face and make all your makeup look even better. always follow your natural eyebrow shape.. Use a brow powder to fill in your eyebrows and a clear mascara or gel to set them. The powder will look the most natural and clear mascara will set them to hold the powder in place with out effect the powder you have used to fill the eyebrow. Use your nose and natural arch to guide the shape of your eyebrows.
TIP NO 5
Always use blush on apples on your cheek with gently blending back towards your cheek bones use little bit blush to blend as this creates a natural looking flush to your face. Don’t forgrt to highlight the cheek bone to add glow to your face.
TIP NO 6
It is a common complain the eyes shadows do not pop out much .so I will tell you how to get one. apply your favourite concealer or foundation on your eye lids set it with setting powder and then use the eye shadow problem solved. A light neutral shade of eyeshadow should be used as a base under your other eyeshadow. you do not want your coloured eyeshadow going up to your eyebrow. It usually makes your eyelids look like they lack dimension and might make your eyes look sunken in. Not a cute look, but if that is what you are hoping for then you go for it.
pro tip: Darker eyeshadow goes in the crease and outer corners of your eyes. Highlighting directly underneath your eyebrows will help brighten up and frame your face. This is ridiculously easy too. I prefer to apply a more shimmery, highlighter-like eyeshadow here. This is your face that you want light and bright to really open your face and make it look amazing!
Make sure you blend well to make it look smooth!
TIP NO 7
You cannot get a good lip shape if you do not use lip liner before lipstick.
Lip liner prevents bleeding or smudging along the edges of your lips. Line your lips with a shade that matches, or is slightly lighter, than the lipstick you will be applying. Drawing a little over your top lip to make your lips appear fuller is good must not overdo it. you can choose to have lip fillers if you want but over doing your lip liner make it worse.
Put a lighter colour of lipstick in the centre of your lips to make them appear fuller. When you apply your lipstick, find a lighter complimenting shade, and apply it to centre of your lips. This is where the light naturally hits and the lighter shade of lipstick will reflect more light, creating fuller-looking lips.
Moisturize and exfoliate your lips before you apply lipstick. Exfoliate your lips first using a sugar scrub or lip exfoliant. Then apply lip balm or Chapstick. Then, you may apply your lip liner and lipstick to avoid chunky lipstick.
TIP NO 8
WHEN TO USE CONCELER? it is debatable isn’t it? but my personal experience is that it should be used after we use foundation. this will help makeup look less caky and it will still give flawless look. but the choice is still yours to use it before or on the foundation.
TIP NO 9
It really does not matter If you are going to do your eye makeup fist or your face but if you are doing a lot of black eyeshadow, glitter, or loose powders on your eyelids, I would do your eyes first so you can wash off the fallout and you will not ruin your face makeup. If you make a mistake, it will be easier to go in with makeup remover to fix it if you are not wearing face makeup. Not to mention, if you experience eyeshadow fallout during application, you will struggle to remove it without smearing it across your face.
TIP NO 10
The question is what should be the shade of your Concealer?
The shad of concealer should be as close as to you skin colour If you apply a shade of concealer that is as dark, or darker, than your foundation, then set it all with powder, you are going to look silly and blotchy. You want concealer to be lighter so when you set it with powder it blends well and looks even with your foundation.
Use your nose and natural arch to guide the shape of your eyebrows.
TIP NO 11
23. Apply eyeliner in short strokes to make an even line.
Eyeliner can be intimidating, but it does not have to be! I recommend starting from the centre of your lash line and working your way towards the outer corner of your eye, using very short, teeny tiny little strokes to create your line. Then, I would go back to your starting point and work your way towards the inner corner of your eye.
24. Exfoliate your skin to have even skin to apply makeup on.
Dry, uneven skin makes it difficult to put on makeup and you will struggle to get the smooth, flawless finish you so desire. If you have flakes of dry skin or your face is peeling, grab an exfoliating mask or cleanser to gently remove the dead skin. I recommend doing this during your night routine so you can have smooth, calmed down skin to apply makeup. Exfoliation tends to irritate your skin just a smidge so it’s best to not put makeup on immediately after .DO NOT FORGET TO MOISTURISE. OFFCOUSE WE NEED MOISTURISE / PRIMER UNDERNEATH OUR MAKEUP TO HAVE SMOOTH FINISH.
